
Realizing her own potential at an early age, Heather always knew one day she would forge a permanent impression in the world through the entertainment business. Drawn to the art of performing at an early age, Heather’s became a technology enthusiast at the young age of six when her father purchased one of the first video cameras on the market. For the next twelve years this talented young child entertained friends and family by doing the daily news, skits with her cousin and sister, hosting talk shows and directing her own music videos, pushing her family and schools production gear to the max.
Her gadget and tech knowledge reaches into other realms as well with her adept knowledge of Social Media, Small Business Branding, and encouraging her fans and friends to give themselves permission to “geek out” when it comes to something they really enjoy, especially if it enhances their lives.
With her quirky, girl-next door stories and passion for motivating others to dive in to learning, Heather is that reliable, reassuring source for everything tech. A consummate professional, Heather’s unique ability to wow audiences and her undeniable energy is quickly setting her apart from the rest of the monotone, robotic tech gurus.
Heather enrolled at Drexel University where she earned a BA in Global Journalism with a concentration of Film and Video Production. While enrolled at Drexel, Heather played shooting guard for their Division 1 Women’s Basketball team. Emerging as a 3-Point sensation her teammates gave her the nickname “Hollywood” for her showboat style of play and of course her fanatical, but yet entertaining personality. After three separate internships as a reporter at CNN in Atlanta, and producing with NFL Films and VH1, Heather hung up the high-tops and moved to Los Angeles taking her back to her true passions. A teacher with a platform and a true artist in many capacities, Heather Welborn is the next “It-Tech-Girl.”
